A lovely lovely evening was had by the Prose Family.  You will have to turn your imagination on, as phones (aka my camera) were not allowed.  We had a picnic on a giant yellow blanket, complete with brats and baked beans and lemonade.  Andy grilled, and filled the neighborhood up with the scents of summer.  Included with this deliciousness was onions and 'shrooms and strawberries.  We chatted away about our day, did our "highs" and "lows", laughed at Benett's Star Wars jokes (May the 4th be with you.).  After dinner, it was family game time.  Thanks to the 1200 tickets won at the arcade, the game of choice was Catch Phrase.  Harper was on my team, and we totally won - the evening was completed with (just a bit of) screen time - WHEEL OF FORTUNE, WHERE YOU CAN WIN FABULOUS FABULOUS PRIZES!!!

What a perfect summertime school-night eve. and this suburban mom and her kids will be stay at home in fifteen days - so maybe we can stay up past 7pm.
