Mother's Day 2022, and I was fortunate enough to spend it with my favorites.

 

May's Project Update: Dexter moved into our garage, and we acquired some pallets.

 

Being a teacher is so much more than reading, writing, and arithmetic. It’s about building safe spaces for all students to see themselves in the world, to build relationships that transcend beyond the last days of school, embracing our differences so we can continuously learn from and with each other.

I learned this from so many influential folks- but the most important I call Jane & Doug. Thank you for teaching me the importance of questioning, loving your neighbor, reading all the things, and proper grammar.
