First day back at work (that I'm actually getting paid).

Annual school shopping extravaganza with Grammy, and although school may look different, the Boy will only be looking fly!! In addition to outfitting the kids, my Mama brought me everything she thought I may need for a successful year including: Clorox, chocolate, masks, wine, bangle bracelets, shoes!!! an air purifier, and a message I definitely needed to hear. #bestmomever #HighTopChucks #harperisnext #luckykids

Two days of lemonade, and over $1500.  Yep, you read that correctly, Bennett raised over $1500 for #JDRF.  Seriously, so proud, and he can't wait to give his container to his sweet cousin.  We look forward to the day when Bennett will no longer need to raise money for this cause, but until then, we will continue to squeeze the lemons and love our Ella.

Ummm, remember when I told you that Bennett set a "reasonable" goal of $500?  Thanks to some of the most generous friends and family, teammates and coaches, Bennett raised more than that the first day!!!  The donations flooded in, as the lemonade flowed, and the generosity of our community left us speechless.

Having reached his goal, the Boy could easily have packed up shop and called it a win.  But if you know Bennett, you know that wasn't even an option.

New sign, same great cause.  Bennett is preparing for his annual 🍋ade stand.  He's not sure how it will go this year - you know, cause COVID...  He held off on the fund raiser as long as possible, decided to set a realistic goal of $500, and hope for the best.  This year the stand will include contact free pick up, and free hand sanitizer.

I snapped this picture, and shared it with the Mister, knowing exactly what would happen.  Roughly, 2 hours later, I had my very own, IKEA inspired teacher storage desk for Room 450.  Thanks, AP for your timely project completion, and helping me create a space to store all my hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes.

Alright, kids.  Let's do this.  School is going to start some how, some way.  We may not be sure exactly what it will look like, yet.  But we can be sure of one thing.  WE NEED TO STOCK UP ON TICONDEROGA PENCILS!!!  (aside note:  There is a difference in pencils.  Teachers are not being picky when they request this specific brand.  And, while I don't get paid to endorse this company, I whole heartedly will shout their praises from any mountain top.  Do the right thing.  Buy the pencils.)

Ok.  It's time.  I can no longer bury my head in games of cribbage, wood fire pizzas, reading in lawn chairs and early happy hour.  Riverview Intermediate - I'm coming for you.  Whatever this year may bring, I'm ready - or I'm pretending like I am - either way, it looks the same.

Last year's Rainy Lake camping adventure was such a success, that we immediately booked a return trip.  And this year was even better, thanks to the perfect weather and giant pontoon.  I will never camp with amateurs, but I will always camp with these Prose.

We will be back next year, Rainy.  That's a pinky promise.
