The final days of December were spent searching for elusive at home covid tests, Bennett hopped on a bus to attend ski camp, and Harper enjoyed a few lazy days tooling around. 

The new camera (that looks like a phone) arrived just in time to document Safar Family Christmas!  And, Nicole arrived just in time to share some covid tests with us (I guess this is the new normal??).  After we all got one line (no one wants to see 2 lines), we packed up and headed northwest. It felt good to be home, and was almost normal - with the exception of the menu change to lasagna - but we won't talk about that.

 

CocoV is such a 👑.

 Wisdom Teeth Extraction Day.  

Bennett was terrified he would say or doing something silly while medicated.  He set a goal to not do anything embarrassing, and we promised we would not record any of his possible shenanigans (but we also maybe had our fingers crossed behind our backs...).  Per usual, he met his goal, and I was a little disappointed in not getting the chance to post a video to go viral. 

 Just going to leave this here for posterity. The kids like to say "The struggle is real.",  and there could not be a truer statement ever made.

Our annual winter weekend away with Big D and Proper Lady included A LOT of pool, burgers with Grammy and Grampy, holiday rom-coms, a hot tub and a couple pigs.
