Failure  of the epic NY resolution of '18 was not an option.  Remember that T resolved to get have a ProJac Family Outing every single month of 2018, and we wrapped up the year GrandView Lodge style.  It might have been the best adventure, yet.
The weather was perfect for outdoor activities, skating and boot hockey, fort building and bonfires, snow angel making and pushing little kids in the snow, hot chocolate and spiced toddies.

The cottage was the idea set up, including 2 designated game spaces big enough for a dance party and pool playing.

I even had company at midnight this year, as the ball dropped on a rainy soaked Sunday night in New York City.  There is no other way I'd like to ring in the new year year, than with these people, in my sweatpants on the sofa.  Same resolution for the '19, ProJacs.  I dare you.

Mr. Prose totally nailed the 2018 Christmas gift, but this is by far, my favorite.  When Johnny was asked to describe paradise, he responded...

"Daddy.  All this driving is exhausting.  I think we should take a nap.  Here.  You lay down, and I'll find a good spot."

Safar Family Christmas 2018! The house was full of all the important people and animals and there was sledding, and skating, and puzzle put togethering.

With the arrival of guitars, and dolls, shoes and headphones, augers and Legos, it was apparent that everyone ended up on the "Nice List", yet again.  We are so lucky and grateful and so love being at home.♡

Over the river and through the woods, the grandmother's house we go.
And, Harper just couldn't wait to give her gift to Grampy.  A gift she had been working on for months, each day planning what her next illustration would be, and the colors that would make it just perfect.
You are right, kid.  Grampy is magical, pretty magical indeed.

Unexpected water damage, and I remind myself to look for the good.

1.  We have access to a 24 hour, really cheap,  master contractor.
2.  I've been wanting new flooring in the basement.

Prose Family Christmas 2018, and the tree was big and fat and beautiful, as always.  The family arrived full of spirit and love and laughter.  The gifts spilled out from under the tree, and the tables were blanketed with all the fixings of a fantastic feast (including green jello).  It was perfect.

I'm pretty lucky to have found this family, and have take me as one of their own, and surround us in love each time we are together.  I didn't take as many pics as I should have, but fortunately, this sweet faced girl got her very own Polaroid.   We love you, Papa and Grandma! xoxo
