Goals for 2018 - shop local, visualize and materialize, drop a few and gain a few, clean out that drawer and knock down that wall, vote as much as possible and grow something in the garden, love harder and write more thank you cards.  and spend as much time as possible with these humans.

Ring a ding ding, 2018!  We packed up the crew - leaving Harper's coat and Colie behind - and headed North!  What's that you say??  Yep, we headed North for our annual ProJac NYE extravaganza.  See, we had rented ourselves this little cabin in the woods - it was very very cold, and very very Dirty Dancing. (Like a 1960's lodge, not our dance moves.)

Thankfully, we didn't forget our furs.

Safar Family Christmas 2018 💗

Sunday, December 24, 2017

A picture perfect Christmas Eve, complete with an overflowing table and tree, our favorite littles leaving a flight for Santa and a thank you note, and our family growing by one...

Meet Julie. 😊  You didn't think something else, did you?

We packed up the truck and headed to Rose for Safar Family Christmas!  AP and I contue with the 4 Gifts Tradition (want, wear, need, read) and we decided to bring the 'wears' to Rose.  Can you guess what Harper got??  Yep - brand new skates to wear on the rink that Grampy so expertly cleared!
She was pretty much a rockstar - and I godn't always give her enough credit.  I was pretty sure there would be a few tumbles, and then "I'm all done with this, Mama." But, much to everyone's suprise, Harper may just be a natural!  (Not talking olympic material, but she stayed up more than she fell down!).
Bennett did not want skates, but he did want a new winter coat - so his wear was used for snowmobiling adventures around the rink.  However, it was pretty obvious that he was beginning to rethink his "no skates, please" as he watched his sister gliding around.  And, while he didn't ask for a pair, we all knew he wanted some...  Don't worry, Bennett Daniel, it's Christmas.  Miracles happen.

My favorite photo bomber.
