Tree Hunt 2017

 Opted for a short needle.

 Every year there is a major discussion.

 And every year, a debate on what we had last year.

 Thankfully, I was able to look at archived blog posts and confirm that I was correct.

 Again.

 Last year we had a short needle tree.

 And, this year, we would, as well.

Last year, when Freddie flew back to the North Pole, he left a note that eluded to sliming our entire house.  Fortunately, there was only partial follow through with this tricky prank.  Freddie arrived just in time, with all the necessary ingredients to make our own slime.  Thanks, Little Elf.  Welcome back.

While Turkey Day was celebrated sans AP, and included a celebration of the life of Uncle Bud - it was still pretty great.  The pictures tell the story better than I.

I know what you are thinking.  It's only November 19th.  It's not even Thanksgiving.  But, I did it.  I suggested we put one tree up early.  My idea was quickly shot down by the Mister, and ditto'd by the Boy.  I waited.  Later, I suggested up put up one tree.  The Mister replied "No!  It's too early." and the Boy just smiled.  I waited.  Later, I suggested we put up the tree.
