We wrapped up the month of April emersed in schoolwork. Harper and Bennett take school seriously, and while they have different time management techniques, they found systems that work for their individual styles. Bennett likes to complete the work before it's actually assigned, and Harper likes to collaborate and complete tasks in chunks. My favorite is that they both like to share with us - and most evenings we are entertained with a presentation of some sort.

We also were able to attend and support our favorite actor. The performance of Tuck Everlasting was incredible, and left us all in tears.  P shines on stage. 🌟

Due to the 1/2'er, we did not travel for the long Easter holiday. Fortunately, the Bunny still found us. And, the kids proved that you are never too old to search for some eggs, and get excited over duck night lights. Welcome, Finn.

A little cool and a bit windy, but that didn’t stop the boy or his mighty fan club. Thanks to all those who were able to come cheer - from far and near!

Tomorrow is the CentraCare 1/2 Marathon - and for the first time, Bennett will be running with thousands of other people. Obviously, we had to prepare some signage, and Harper had fantastic ideas. Off to the crafting room we go...

Springtime in Madison! We have been coming to our favorite little city for 20 years, and it never ceases to amaze me that we always find new adventures. This trip had a few "first". It was our first 'Harper only' visit, as Bennett had other commitments. We also went to the ballet for the first time - which was so lovely. Grampy even stayed awake! We also went to the best new Chinese restaurant.

We will be back, Mad-City!
