Friday morning of spring break!  We had so much to do today.  We had to pack for Rose, we had to paint surprise birthday gifts for Great Grandma,
we had to play with our neighborhood besties, and we had to bake!!
I AWOKE to Bennett bouncing around (who had be up for hours) in excitement for the days to come, and I WOKE Harper up at 8:55am.  She watched TV with her brother for awhile, then told me she was going back to bed.

Wait a minute.  Harper, you have been up for 25 minutes, and you are going back to bed?  While the girl had been tired getting over her sickness from last week, this was a bit odd.  I asked if she wanted to paint.  No.  (That was weird.) I asked if she wanted to bake. No. (That was really weird.)  As Harper went back to sleep -
sans her blanket and TV (The weirdest) - I called the doctor.   After it taking too long for her to call me back, I packed up Harper, Bennett ran over to Rick's and we drove to the clinic.

Harper didn't complain or whine.  She simply laid her head on my shoulder.  After the initial check, a few tests and Xrays, Harper was diagnosed with Influenza B, a sinus infection and a lung infection -
and guess who cried?  H listened to the doctor, and followed all the directions.  I got teary and cried.  I felt terrible for waiting so long to bring her to the clinic.  The doctor patted my shoulder and said, "Well, dear, if it makes you feel any better, I think Harper had a cold first, and now all this other stuff.  Had you brought in in last week, I would have told you to give her Tylenol and rest.  There is not much we can do about a cold.  Now, there is something we can do.  But, I don't know if it is a good thing that this is all just starting.  If you had travel plans for Easter - I would recommend you cancel them."

We gathered up our prescriptions
and went home to break the news to Bbones.  Have I ever told you how incredibly sweet he is?  When we got home, he tucked his sister in, gave me a hug and said, "It's ok if we can't go to Grammy's house, Mommy."  to which I got all teary again.
Then, he asked me if I to play a game.
