On April 13, Bennett attended Kindergarten screening. This was very exciting, because he was quite certain "the lady has never screened a kid as smart as me". Yep, Bennett is pretty smart. He passed the exam, and the screener was impressed with his "cooperation, attention and confidence". She also noted (in all CAPS) that he has "great skills, and is TALKATIVE".
Being a mother, I am sure there will be several moments of complete and utter pride. Today's moment came when Bennett was shown a picture of a family eating breakfast - with images of bread, bananas, books, brothers, a dad with a beard... Bennett was asked to name some "B" words. He thought and thought... The Lady told Bennett he could come up with his own "B" words, if he didn't see any in the picture. (To which, I was certain, he would shout "Bennett!!")
The boy's smirk should have made me nervous... His response, "Beer and bras."
