Monumental MEA Day One:
     We decided to spend the day on the National Mall, checking out all the monuments.  Bennett was most excited about the Lincoln Memorial.  Harper was most excited to do cartwheels along the reflecting pool.  I was most excited when my tour guiding sister showed up.

 The above and below photos pretty much sums up the attitude of the Ninja and the Gnome this entire weekend.  Bennett was in his glory, soaking it all in, at times with tears in his eyes and he was able to fully immerse himself in history.  Harper loved the outdoors, and having all kinds of space to practice her gymnastics and have so many hands to hold and swing her high - until she didn't.  Then with fire in her eyes, she needed a rest, until it was time for a snow cone, or a souvenir.
