Monumental MEA Day 3:
Today was the day to wander through the museums.  Best part was rounding a dark corner of the Nat'l History Museum, and gasping at the enormous original flag - complete with tattered edges and cannon holes.  We also saw narwhals, walked through a butterfly garden, toured the first lady closet, and visited the place where Dr. Lillehei was recognized.  Dr. Lillehei was the heart surgeon who performed open heart surgery on Uncle Dave when he was a little boy.  It was the first operation of it's kind.  Dr. Lillehei continued to be a world renowned heart surgeon, and found the MN based company Medtronics.

Then it was sushi, and a night time bus tour to wrap up the evening.  About the tour, Grampy stated "It's pretty cool to see, but would be better during the day because we could see so more." 😂
