I knew summer had officially begun when Harper got up (at 8:15am!!!) and put on her swimsuit.  It was a beautiful morning, and they were out the door before I could even pretend to get them breakfast.  It didn't take me long to realize that an 8 and 4 (for not very long) year olds are AWESOME!  

For the purpose of this blog entry, the definition is:  AWESOME adj. can totally play outside semi-unattended, get a snack when necessary, have the ability to pump on the swing, tie water balloons and solve most neighborhood conflict - yet still require a 90 minute rest/read time.
