Schools out for summer!!
The last day of school is always bitter sweet. While the students and I are both super excited about the upcoming summer vacation, it's also a weird unsettling feeling. The only way to calm those gitters, and release that crazy energy, is to have a party! There is no better reason! And, of course, the best kind of party is a Happy (hour) Party!
Happy hours are modified a bit in suburbia. They still include a table full of really good friends, all discussing their day and telling stories of their life experiences.
We are certain to have a responsible driver.
There is always that one crazy friend, who brings a project.
And, we take pictures of ourselves with our besties.
Same, but different. And, always happy.
