I had an appointment this morning to get my crystals back in place, so the kids and I got to sleep in until 5:30am - and I got to play SAHM. Wanting to stay in complete character, I dressed in leggings, long socks and UGG boots, and sang songs with the kids while we brushed our teeth. I helped B with his spelling words, and ponied/headbanded H's locks.

I made and served breakfast at the counter, sharing knock knock jokes. After packing up the school bags, with signed reading calendars and homework, we loaded up the truck. We arrived at Ms. Kelli's, I dropped off one girl and picked up two, to wait at the bus stop. (Still a wicked windchill warning in this 'burb.)
After belting out a T. Swift song, the Littles marched to the stop.

I could totally get used to this stay at home mom gig; especially when the kids go to school while the mom stays home.

Back to life. Back to reality. Back to setting the alarm. Today, marked the end of winter break, and the beginning of the count down to spring!! (Only 75 days!!) However, spring felt far far away, and B and I were both secretly hoping for a 2hr late start, when we awoke to this:
COLD!! Too cold for recess, but not too cold for the bus stop.

Oh, and did I mention that when we awoke to -25*, our furnace was off?? Say what?!? Hmmmm... That was quite possibly due to
The beginnings of project "Hip Cowboy Hangout Room". Stay tuned! And warm.

Most of the afternoon I was lucky to be snuggled in with this little bug, watching movies and chatting it up.

I started cleaning the house this morning, when the phone rang... "Are we making burritos today??" The question was easily answered, after a quick vacuum.
Three trips to the store and seven hours later, we filled our freezer and wrapped 151 delicious burritos. Next time, fresh grilled corn and more 'shrooms and veggies.

2015 began perfectly with hot chocolate and double whip. Pretty sure we are in for the Best. Year. Ever.

Let it snow!

Holy Christmas, Jesus!  It was a whirlwind of a holiday season, with celebrations all over the place - and food and family and presents - and FREDDIE!

Harper was not super excited about seeing Santa at the mall.  Shocker.
