July 13-15 - We had spent too many days at home, so we packed up the truck and headed for Wisco to celebrate our favorite Caveman's new decade.  There was unicorn riding, successful wakeboarding ("Just play a tug of war with 45, B!!!"), 40 beers and smoking ribs.  Staring contests between Lo and B and back 40 rides filled the nature loving hearts of H and T.  This will always be on our Summer Bucket List, and likely on the winter one, too (now that there is a big garage to keep us warm...)

July 8-12 we are back in Morningstar for the daily berry harvest, making of some kind of knight wear, a visit from Grampy for some Alaska bear hunting supplies, finally a happy hour with boo boo and soccer.  Go team Brazil!!

July 7 - Happy #46 to Mama and Papa Bear!  💞

July 6 - Gina!!  I got the sweetest deal!  I'm going to pick it up after work.  It's gonna be so awesome!!  No, we didn't join the Tiny House movement - but feel free to come over and try out the new sauna.  I'll let you know when it actually works.  Until then, it's a pretty sweet play house.

July 5 - Impromptu Morningstar movie night!  A dusk showing of "Bees" included the entire colony.  And, was by far, the biggest screen we've ever had thanks to Huston's house!

July 4 - there was no doubt who would take home the first prize in the Rose Lake Association floatilla.  There was no competition with the twinning American Flag boys or the birthday cake inspired pontoon.  However, I am quite certain the singing of "Happy Birthday" as we cruised passed the judges station solidified our prize.

July 2-3 brought more family to Rose, including the sweet sweet Dax - there was fourth of July prep, the launching of Peggy the Paddleboat, scuba diving and top down driving.
