The Tequila Mockingbirds meet regularly to discuss literature...  but the definition of "book club" seems to be lacking an essential element our club takes very seriously.

 The celebrations continue as AP slides into #41.  And, in celebration of this event, we got all dressed up for chicken wings and trivia at our new favorite neighborhood grill - The Upper Deck, and I tried out my new fancy camera that looks like a phone.

Every day, I pick this JuneBug up at school and she takes her sweet time reading the. entire. length. of. the. hall. way.

"What about me?  It isn't fair.  I've had enough, now I want my share.  Can't you see???"  (insert shayne ward lyrics circa 1980something)  For months and months and months, Harper has been asking Auntie Amy when they can go to the real AMG store.  It's been a difficult scheduling process because those Prose girls are so busy with all their sporty commitments - but we finally were able for an impromptu trip to 69th Street North - and watch some basketball, hit up the store, race with rubix cubes and be introduced to Alexa - a total game changer.

And we are already in the process and planning the next visit.

Bennett's birthday is the official start of our holiday season - so let the celebrations and libations commence with steak, and suspenders and bow ties and a wood working station and science books and tickets to the Rhett & Link show!

 Happy happy #11, kid.  You're my favorite.

Finally.  Bennett has waited his whole life for this day.  He is finally a palindrome.  His birthday requests included underwear, suspenders and a steak dinner. (no joke)

Hunting Weekend 2017 - The boys enjoyed the cool temperatures, and the sights of nature (which included a puffy robin, a mouse, some dead flies, but no deer...).  They got up early and came home late, and adjusted to the time change.  The girls got pedicures and went boot shopping, enjoyed some warm beverages by the fire, and did some quiet reading.  You know it's a good weekend when all parties think they had the better time.
