Prose Family Christmas 2022! Almost all of us gathered at Amy and Erics's - we were just missing Lauren. The meal was lovely, the gifts thoughtful and the sleepover should certainly become tradition.  

 

We got out of school early, due to the impending snow storm. The snow that accumulated was heavy and beautiful. Did I say it was heavy?? Bennett and I attempted to shovel this morning, and our lovely neighbor immediately saw our nightmarish situation and came over with his blower. He apologized first, saying he had to go to clean his mom's driveway, but would leave his machine for us to use. I looked at him with grateful eyes, and said "Bennett can do it." 😂 After a quick tutorial, the boy was blowing all the snow away! They just grow up so fast.

 

Winter Weekend Away with the Hustons, and I should have taken some more pictures to document our adventures. We completed the puzzle(s), played the games, watched ridiculously bad holiday movies, played pool and relaxed in the hot tub. Always one of my favorite weekends of the season - I just love my pod so much. 

 

So grateful I was able to travel with Mom to celebrate your life. Rest easy, B.

Another year, another trip to BJs Tree Farm! I think I say it every year, but this year we definitely found the perfect tree! Perfect size, perfect height, perfect needle length. And, per usual, it was one of the first trees we saw, but we pretended to look around a bit, and then circle back.

 

 Remember that one Thanksgiving, when you (finally) got Covid? We all had to stay home, and you tried to quarantine in the fish house, but returned to the warmth of your bed. Remember when you Facetimed me and asked for something to eat? I said I would get whatever you wanted. Remember what you requested?
