Elementary teacher mantra the week before winter break. All day. Every day.
Year 18 of blogging about the Ninja and the Gnome. We continue to laugh more than we cry. Enjoy as the hilarity ensues.

Prose Family Christmas 2018, and the tree was big and fat and beautiful, as always. The family arrived full of spirit and love and laughter. The gifts spilled out from under the tree, and the tables were blanketed with all the fixings of a fantastic feast (including green jello). It was perfect.
I'm pretty lucky to have found this family, and have take me as one of their own, and surround us in love each time we are together. I didn't take as many pics as I should have, but fortunately, this sweet faced girl got her very own Polaroid. We love you, Papa and Grandma! xoxo

The cookie baking tradition continues, and with the girls growing up, they are definitley more help - if not more messy while baking. The Kimble-Prose females whipped out dozens and dozens of cookies including: sugar, gingerbread, oreo and PB truffels, corn flake wreaths, pretzel bites... and I'm sure there are more, but they have already been consumed. And - for the first and last time ever - we burned a pan.

We officially booked our ski trip to CO with the Jacobsons, so we decided that "we" probably should try out some hills before hitting up the mountains. AP, being the former ski instructor, of course has mad skills. BP has been boarding for years, and is quite confident in his abilities. GP skiied once, in 6th grade, and is pretty sure she can figure it out. HP can't wait to try, and really wants pink and purple skis.
The first day on the slopes was a huge success! We fell down, but kept getting up (with assistance). The boys were incredibly patient and helpful with their new learners.
And, they have a bar. We will be back 💯!
