Latest photo shoot with T... She always makes Izzo and Bizz A look like the cutest kids in America.
Year 18 of blogging about the Ninja and the Gnome. We continue to laugh more than we cry. Enjoy as the hilarity ensues.

Saturday, we braved the mix of rain, snow, sleet, ice, and flood water to celebrate year four of our favorite "cousin" Izzy.
Despite the weather conditions, the lack of AP, the major sugar high/tired kid meltdown, and the need of a lifeguard rescue, it was worth every single minute -
for this.
We arrived at the Cariveau residence, and the chaos began, and only increased when we arrived at the waterpark. We took over that place; we slid and ran and swam. Two babies, and three crazy toddlers are a lot of work - the lifeguard only had to rescue one (mine, of course). We played hard, and crashed hard. Thank goodness for chicken nuggets and babysitters.
for this.

Dentist Day
The dawn of April 01 (even early for us), Bennett ran into my room shouting, "Today is the best day EVer, Mom. Dentist day, and T!! YES. Just the best day." While it was April Fools Day, this was no joke. Bennett was super excited to go the the dentist, to show off his chompers, and talk about paleontology.
We found a wonderful, very kid friendly dentist (notice the shades for the bright light?). Bennett loved every minute. The tooth technician told him he had a "such an interesting personality". (And my teacher friends know what "interesting" means...)
Who loves the dentist as much as B? Not me, but we do love T.

Fancy Shirts & Pixie Sticks?
Bennett found a fancy shirt in his closet. (The great thing about B's growth chart is that his clothes last a long time...) He decided he needed to go somewhere fancy in his fancy shirt. He asked me if we could go on a date. Certainly, IF we could find a babysitter for Harps. Fortunately, Andy was available - and he's cheap.
Bennett and I went to an afternoon showing of "Gnomeo and Juliet", and of course, we purchased the obligatory kid's combo of popcorn and beverage. The above stated combo comes with a pixie stick. Really? Who thought giving a kid a pixie stick before a 90 minute movie was a good idea? Probably those same people who believe No Child should be Left Behind by 2014... But, I digress...
The movie was a hit. We only had to take two breaks; one bathroom, one licorice. I'll probably go out with him again.

Waterslides
On Saturday, the Prose family packed up their gear (which is a lot of gear for one night, but not too much gear that it didn't fit in the back of the mighty Prius) and headed to Brainerd for some fun at the local Holiday Inn waterpark. The Prose family met the Kral family, and fun was had by all. So much fun that Mama Prose took one picture.
So much fun that the kids crashed early. IF we would have had ajoining rooms the fun would have continued longer than 8pm. Unfortunately, there was no amount of magic to make that happen. So, thanks to the Krals! Next time, connected rooms and two nights (and maybe a big, huge, jug of whiskey??)

Left Unattended
The other evening, I left Bennett unattended in the bathtub (gasp!!). I am sure I was busy doing something quite urgent, but was quickly reminded of my son, when I heard screaming, and a plugged nose gasp, from the bathroom. "Where are those fish?? Fish!! Where are those fish??" I quickly peeked in the tub, and found
