Such a gr8 day, celebrating 8 decades!
Year 18 of blogging about the Ninja and the Gnome. We continue to laugh more than we cry. Enjoy as the hilarity ensues.

Let me take a moment to recognize our favorite apocalypse prepping people. These smiling faces are the reason quarantine didn't suck that bad. Over the past 2 years, we have solved all the problems of world, smoked delicious meat and fired crispy pizza. We have talked books, perfected our skills of deception and deceit, and played mean guitar solos. The Hustons have made our pandemic experience not only manageable, but memorable. Big D, Proper Lady, and Lucy Lu - we love you.
You will forever be our Pod.

@tjstang02 - the last decade, you and I have traveled from east coast to west, and the borders from north to south. We’ve spent miles singing at the top of our lungs, and even more sitting in the most comfortable silence. Thank you for listening, knowing, loving and understanding - all the things. Can’t wait to see the map for the next 10 years… #thanksmarge #bestieroadtrip #laughuntilwecry #ttfn
All the things. ❤️ And for the record, never another pandemic pause. Don’t go wandering off now! xo

Birthday balayage, baby!
Our sweet Gemini Gypsy celebrated her 2nd Global Pandemic birthday - and it was a little bit more normal (we went to a restaurant - gasp!!). Grammy and Grampy visited for ice cream, and you received countless texts and messages and phone calls. You are so loved by so many, Harper Nicole. And you know how your Mama feels - I love you. Like. A. Lot.

We did it - some days it was questionable - but we powered through! Final day of this crazy year - we learned all at school, we learned 1/2 at home 1/2 at school, and we learned all at home. These kids showed so much resilience, and patience and grace. I am so proud of them. There are a lot of questions about what the next school year will look like... We will think about that in August. As for now - it's time to fill the pool!
