Chapter One: The Sequel Begins

A great sequel requires several essential elements to be successful in the box office.  A killer setting, with great scenery, new and interesting characters to add spice to the storyline, and some conflict/resolution (or dangerous rock climbing adventures always worked for Sy Stallone, right?).  Thelma and Louise (part 2) had everything it needed to be a smash.  Including a beaver hat...
We entered the city of MSP just in time to see the sun rise over the mighty Mississippi.  We packed up the BlueB and tucked the kid in the back.

I drove over the first state line, until T could take it no longer.  Apparently, I am much too slow for her.  (That's not 87 degrees, people). I was happy to navigate and entertain the rest of the way through NE.

With one stop in Omaha for lunch and a beer with Beyonce, and another stop to stretch our legs (and a beer)

we finally arrived and heard the mountains calling...

Dtown included lunch with some old (and young) friends, a few pedicab rides, the best local grub and brew...

And - the first of countless - 3 ways.
