Bennett started his first official soccer league the beginning of June.  We are super lucky to have his bestie, Avery, join us ON THE SAME TEAM!! for the two day a week lesson.

This is Bennett's first experience with "organized athletics" and my first experience with "organized athletic parents".  I have to wear my dark sunglasses, and stiffle  belly laughs as these moms and dads cheer their 4/5 yo on from the sidelines.  They take it quite seriously.

Bennett and Avery are the best partners.  Bennett was described as a "beast" on the field.  Surprisingly, he is fairly aggressive.  However, I did catch him using his manners, and saying "thank you!" to an opposing team player, as he stole the ball.  Avery is a prancing unicorn on the field.  She has the hugest smile on her face, and loves to assist in goals.  They pass the ball to each other, and speak (comical) words of encouragement. 

The program runs through the end of July, and by then, I'm certain we will have two Olypmic Hopefuls.
