Love it when the weekend is extended because of an incredible amount of snow (and we had plenty of Irish creme to keep us warm.). The first snow storm of the winter came early in December. We watched as the snow fell and fell, piling high on the deck. As soon as we could muster up the courage, we ventured outdoors. It was a quintessential winter wonderland.
Bennett was in his glory, and could not get enough of the snow. He would have stayed outside all day, had we let him. His rosy cheeks and shining eyes were enough to keep us warm for a little longer.
The 'lil Gnome wasn't so excited about this blizzard. She kept getting stuck in the snow, which resulted in panic. Snow got in her boots, and hat, and scarf, and mittens, which could only signify the end of the world. Bennett did his best, but there was not convincing Harper that this snow day was any fun.
