Bennett loves Papa's jokes, almost as much as he loves Papa.  He came up with an idea for a perfectly, funny gift - 365 Jokes.  As Bennett started googling "a joke a day" I quickly intervened, pulling rank and enforcing a "mom internet censor" just in case, but Bennett did all the rest. Cutting each joke, we laughed while this gift was being created.
Cheers to starting each day of 2018 with a chuckle, Papa!
💞  Prose Family 2017  💕

Headed to the River for Prose Family Christmas - dressed in our semi-coordinated "I want to look like Nicole" outfits, with a truck full of gifts and ice fishing equipment.  I love this day so so much.  I love the chaos and the noise and the food and the laughter that fills the house.  I love catching the glances of love across the room, as Wes and Rita's eyes connect.  I love when a flag pops up and Andy and his brothers race down to the ice, the little boys follow, as mothers yell "PUT YOUR COAT ON!!"   I love the big tree, and the football game in the background and the cookie crumbs.
We are certainly the luckiest.

"Mama, can we make cookies?  Just you and me?"

The countdown to December 8th was marked on the calendar "Best Day Ever", and it finally arrived.  For B's #11, we got tickets to see his favorite pod-casting, witty, academic comedians live.  Rhett and Link - the founders of Good Mythical Morning did not disappoint.  "Dink it or sink it".  (whatever that means)

The HollyBall theme was Winter Night's.  We schmoozed as long as we could, then snuck out the side door - feeling much more at home a block away.
